Jason Winn’s right knee might not be fully healed, but his arm works just fine.

Cleared to play the day before, Winn completed 19 of 32 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns to lead Granada Hills High past Kennedy, 14-6, in a nonleague game Friday night at Granada Hills.

Winn, who was forced to sit out the Highlanders’ victory over Jefferson last week, connected with Robert Ortega on a 61-yard touchdown pass play midway through the third quarter to put Granada Hills (4-1) ahead, 14-6.

Ortega caught seven passes for 128 yards and rushed 13 times for 151 yards.

Kennedy (3-2) had to settle for field goals of 28 and 26 yards by David Franco in the second quarter after driving inside the Granada Hills 10.
