ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports over the weekend:

BREA

* Brea Mall Way: An attempted murder and burglary were reported in the 2000 block at 2:47 p.m. Thursday.

* Brea Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 700 block at 8:56 a.m. Wednesday.

* West Central Avenue: Obscene phone calls were reported in the 200 block at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

CYPRESS

* Orange Avenue: A backpack containing $500 in Pokemon cards was stolen in the 4300 block at 5:17 p.m. Wednesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Newhope Street: Someone smashed the window of a car in the 17700 block and stole a wallet at 4:05 a.m. Tuesday.

ORANGE

* The City Drive South: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 500 block at 9 p.m. Thursday.

* The City Drive: A traffic collision occurred in the 300 block at 10:41 a.m. Thursday. There were no injuries reported.

PLACENTIA

* Joan Way: A burglary was reported at 7:09 a.m. Thursday.

SANTA ANA

* Airport Way: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 18000 block at 10:06 a.m. Thursday.

* Hewes Avenue: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 17000 block at 1:09 p.m. Thursday.

* Emperor Drive: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 13000 block at 9:19 p.m. Thursday.

VILLA PARK

* Taft Avenue: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 18000 block at 3:31 p.m. Thursday.

* Center Drive: A traffic collision occurred in the 10000 block at 2:12 p.m. Thursday. There were no injuries.

YORBA LINDA

* Blue Gum Drive: A forgery was reported in the 3600 block at 12:01 p.m. Wednesday.

* Peppergrove Street: A petty theft was reported in the 18000 block at 2:09 p.m. Wednesday.

* Avenue De Las Flores: A petty theft was reported in the 4600 block at 2:47 p.m. Wednesday.

OTHER COMMUNITIES

FOOTHILL RANCH

* Blazewood: A burglary was reported in the 100 block at 1:32 p.m. Wednesday.

* Ellipse: A burglary was reported in the 20000 block at 11:46 p.m. Wednesday.

* Portola and Bake parkways: A traffic collision occurred at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday.

* Banyan: A burglary was reported in the 100 block at 11:54 a.m. Tuesday.

ALISO VIEJO

* Fuchsia Place: A burglary was reported in the 100 block at 7:08 p.m. Tuesday.

* Wood Canyon Drive: Shots were heard in the 28000 block at 10:37 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports over the weekend: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Dana Point, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, La Habra, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Seal Beach, Stanton, Tustin and Westminster.
