VILLA PARK
Villa Park High School students will witness a simulated alcohol-related, fatal car accident Monday morning, a mock performance designed to warn teens and young adults about the dangers of drinking and driving.
Four students and some parents will participate in the reenactment. Two students will pose as victims who will be cut out of damaged cars by firefighters, treated by paramedics and transported to a local hospital where they will be declared dead.
A third will pose as a student killed in the crash and taken to a mortuary. A fourth student will play the role of a drunk driver who will be arrested and jailed at the Orange Police Department.
