Legacy Fund Grants Total $100,000
The Women’s Legacy Fund has given a total of $100,000 to nine nonprofit programs in Ventura County.
The fund was established in 1995 to provide a permanent source of money for programs aiding women and girls in Ventura County.
This year, the fund gave $10,000 to the Alzheimer’s Assn., $10,000 to Camarillo Hospice, $12,500 to Conejo Valley Senior Concerns, $20,000 to the Fillmore Area Center for Transition Services, $11,500 to the Ventura Housing Authority, $18,000 to Many Mansions, $6,000 to the Salvation Army of Oxnard, $2,000 to Soroptimist International of Oxnard’s Career Closet, and $10,000 to Ventura County Jewish Family Services.
