The Villa Park Chat Group will discuss Nicholas Sparks’ “The Notebook” at its Sept. 21 meeting. “The Notebook,” Sparks’ first novel, is a love story about a man who reads an old notebook to his lover, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, in an attempt to bring back her memories of their affair.
