VENTURA COUNTY PEOPLE
* Judith L. Overmyer, Kenneth E. Devore and Barbara Fitzgerald have joined the board of directors of the Ventura County Medical Resource Foundation.
Overmyer is director of nursing education at Ventura County Medical Center, Devore is a Westlake Village attorney and Fitzgerald is director of the Ventura County Human Services Agency.
* Cindi Smith of Camarillo and Laura Raduechel of Ventura have been elected to the board of directors of the Channel Islands Ballet Company.
Smith has worked in film production for 12 years; Raduechel owns a publicity and public relations firm in Ventura.
The ballet company performs “The Nutcracker” every year and stages several other performances.
* Terry Ward-Llewellyn of Ventura has been awarded a patent for his Quick Draw Clip System. The device can be used to carry a cellular phone, camera or other small hand-held tool on a belt or waistband.
