At 6 feet, was the Highlanders’ most consistent and potent offensive player as well as the team’s most reliable passer. A four-year starter, will attend USC. Pushed through an early-season ankle injury and played some of her best matches in the postseason.

IRVINE OUTSIDE HITTER SR.

Sea View League MVP is an effective attacker whose passing and leadership were just as valuable to the Vaqueros. Irvine reached the Division I-A semifinals, where it lost to eventual champion Manhattan Beach Mira Costa. Will be playing for Loyola Marymount.
Katy Daly

SAN CLEMENTE OUTSIDE HITTER JR.

One of the best in a talented junior class, the South Coast League MVP successfully moved from middle blocker. A good all-around player, she was frequently the featured attacker for the Tritons, who reached their first Division I-AA final.
Andrea Delsigne

CAPISTRANO VALLEY SETTER SR.

Toughed it out and played through various injuries to steady the Cougars. Combined with San Francisco-bound middle blocker Ashley Thometz for a potent attack. Delsigne, a four-year starter, combines size (5-9) and athleticism and will attend Utah State.
Breegan Mulligan

MATER DEI OPPOSITE JR.

One opposing coach called her unstoppable. She was also a fine defensive player and helped the Monarchs win a share of the Serra League title and reach the Division I-A final. Should be one of the area’s top recruits next season.
Sarah Salem

LAGUNA BEACH OUTSIDE HITTER JR.

Moved successfully from middle blocker and carried the offensive load for the Pacific Coast co-champion. UCLA and Stanford have already lined up to recruit her. Said Laguna Beach Coach Shawn Patchell: “She was our best passer, defender . . . she did it all.”
