Man Shot in Face Outside Home
TUJUNGA — A 42-year-old man was in stable condition Tuesday night after he was shot in the face as he stood outside his home, said a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The attack occurred in the 10100 block of Hillhaven Avenue, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey. Paramedics were called to the scene shortly before 9 p.m.
The man was standing with family members in front of his home when he got into an argument with two other men, authorities said.
He was shot in the mouth, Humphrey said. The bullet shattered his teeth and lodged in his jaw.
The attackers fled the location in a black or a dark blue sport utility vehicle, said Officer Jason Lee, an LAPD spokesman.
