The Centralia School District’s Board of Trustees adopted a resolution during Tuesday’s board meeting that makes March Arts and Education Month.

The school district is encouraging all nine of its elementary schools to participate by scheduling dance, music and theater events.

The district hopes the event will enhance public support for arts programs in the community.
