Ice Dog Win Streak Reaches Five
Nikolai Khabibulin made 26 saves to record his first shutout with Long Beach as the Ice Dogs defeated Cleveland, 3-0, Friday night before 4,630 at the Long Beach Arena.
The victory was the first shutout victory for the Ice Dogs this season and extended their winning streak to a season-high five.
Alex Vasilevski had two goals and an assist for Long Beach, including the game’s first goal, two minutes and 13 seconds into the first period.
Dmitri Leonov added a goal and two assists.
