Medstone Fourth-Quarter Profit Off 46%

Medstone International Inc., an Aliso Viejo medical equipment company, reported profit of $493,846, or 10 cents a share, for the fourth quarter, down 46% from $917,609, or 18 cents a share, for the like period last year. Revenue increased 4% to $5.6 million. Net income for the year fell 35% to $2.8 million, or 56 cents a share, from $4.3 million, or 82 cents a share, the previous year. Revenue declined 1% to $23.5 million.
