Dealing With a Noisy Neighbor
Robert J. Bruss’ Jan. 30 answer to the woman who paid cash for a condo (“Paying Cash for Condo Was Her First, But Not Last, Mistake”) didn’t give her a satisfactory answer to one problem: the neighbor who plays his stereo too loud.
I had this problem and after speaking to the neighbor with no results, I called the police and told them I wanted to make a citizen’s arrest.
When the police arrived and informed the neighbor that he could not play his music that loud at any hour of the day or night, I never had a problem again. She might consider trying this.
