Interlink Reports Increase in 4th-Quarter Revenues
Interlink Electronics in Camarillo said that fourth-quarter 1999 revenues reached $7.4 million, a 17% increase over fourth-quarter 1998 and a 3% rise over the third quarter of 1999.
Operating income for the three months increased 86% to $743,000, compared with $400,000 for the same period in 1998.
Net income increased to $646,000 or 9 cents per diluted share, compared with $353,000 or 7 cents per diluted share in the same quarter of the previous year.
Consolidated revenues for fiscal 1999 totaled $28.1 million, a 27% increase over 1998. Operating income for the year grew 175%, reaching $2.4 million versus $888,000 in 1998. Net income increased 424% to $2.1 million, with diluted earnings per share of 32 cents for the 12 months ended Dec. 31, compared with $402,000 and 8 cents per diluted share realized in 1998.
Interlink is an original equipment manufacturer for Sony, IBM, Microsoft, NEC, Sharp, Toshiba, InFocus Systems and Mitsubishi. The company maintains offices in Camarillo and Tokyo.
