BUENA PARK
A treat for history buffs and book collectors will be available at the Buena Park Library on Jan. 24.
To commemorate the discovery of gold and the beginnings of Gold Rush fever at Sutter’s Mill 152 years ago, the library district will be giving away a discussion guide and a book called “Gold Rush: A Literary Exploration.” The book is a companion volume to a PBS special on the period and is being donated by the California Council for the Humanities.
