Although the ostensible focus of the collection (due Tuesday) is to introduce rappers Tray Deee and Goldie Loc, it’s more enjoyable listening to Snoop Dogg exchange verses with such riveting guests as Kurupt and Xzibit. Snoop, for his part, delivers solid if unspectacular gangster-tinged work on this side project with two of his rhyming friends. The production varies from stellar to satisfactory California gangster funk on this decent debut album.
