The 16-team tournament, hosted by Corona del Mar High, will also be held at Palisades Tennis Club, Balboa Bay Club Racquet Club, Park Newport and Costa Mesa Tennis Center.
FOOTBALL
Tustin running back Branden Malcom, the Golden West League’s MVP, has committed to play football at Montana, Tustin Athletic Director Al Rosmino said.
Malcom, an all-county second-team selection by The Times, rushed for 1,670 yards and scored 23 touchdowns last season.
Tustin defensive back Zach Bell has committed to Nevada Las Vegas and linebacker Akeem Greenfield to Fordham, Rosmino said.
* Former Marina quarterback Donald Lank, who played at Long Beach College last fall, has committed to attend Howard University in Washington, D.C., according to his father, Donald Lank.
Lank, who graduated from Marina in 1999, is expected to be a slot back at Howard, his father said.
VOLLEYBALL
April Nick, an All-South Coast League outside hitter from Dana Hills, has committed to play volleyball at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., according to Michael Soylular, director of the Laguna Beach Volleyball Club.
TENNIS
Newport Beach Tennis Club will be among the venues hosting the National High School Tennis All-American Team Invitational, March 16-18.
