WESTMINSTER
City staff members say 400 to 600 people have attended each of the first two nights of the summer concert series held Thursday nights at the Sunken Gardens area of the Civic Center.
No concert is scheduled for this week, but the series resumes with the country-western band Doo Wah Riders on July 13. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring beach chairs, blankets and a picnic dinner to the free events from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Nonprofit groups will be selling food.
