Worldwide Wireless Signs Investment Deal

Worldwide Wireless Networks Inc. of Orange said Tuesday that it has signed an equity financing package with an international institutional investor group for up to $20 million.

Terms of the agreement with the investor group, which wasn’t identified, allow for periodic draws of funding at the discretion of Worldwide Wireless in return for shares in the company.

The funding will be available as needed to expand existing Worldwide Wireless network, increase sales and marketing campaigns, target acquisitions and plan expansions into new markets.
