The small exhibit “Correspondences,” by Isamu Noguchi and Ellsworth Kelly, looks at the similarities of two artists from different periods who are committed to organic form. Both artists were influenced by Constantin Brancusi, the organic forms of Surrealism, and primitive and archaic sculpture. The exhibition will focus on their delicate drawings of plant forms as well as their commitment to spare and balanced geometric arrangements in their sculpture.

* “Correspondences: Isamu Noguchi and Ellsworth Kelly,” Orange County Museum of Art, 850 San Clemente Drive, Newport Beach. Tuesday-Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Through Oct. 15. $4 to $5. Free admission Tuesdays. (949) 759-1122.
