More than 100 members of the Capistrano Unified School District PTA met Wednesday at Las Flores Middle School to prepare for the next school year.
PTA members were invited to attend training sessions on educational programs, financial matters and how to run a meeting. One session was devoted to membership drives.
The purpose was “to train the leaders of the drive to reach out to parents and teachers,” said Anne Thacher, an 11-year PTA member.
