Litton Gets OK to Build 12 Navy Ships
Litton Industries of Woodland Hills announced that Litton Avondale Industries has received approval by the U.S. Navy for sustained production of the lead ship in the Navy’s new San Antonio class of amphibious assault ships.
Four ships have been awarded at a value of $2 billion and eight more are scheduled for production during the next five years.
