FULLERTON
Cal State Fullerton has named Michael C. Parker its chief information officer.
Parker is chairman-elect of the California State University system’s Information Technology Advisory Committee and has been with the Fullerton campus since 1974.
Over the past three years, Parker has served as acting chief of information technology, helping to place the school’s technology program among the 100 most effective in the nation’s public four-year colleges. The university was also the first in the state school system to install a fiber-optic network to allow data, voice and image transmissions.
