The Aug. 15 City Council meeting, which was canceled last week, will now go on as scheduled. The council originally canceled the meeting to accommodate anticipated staff vacations. The council usually cancels a meeting during August, but because of fewer than usual vacation requests this year, it rescheduled the meeting.
