Riley Named President of SI/Allegany

John M. Riley has been promoted from general manager to president of SI Technologies Inc.’s weighing equipment business unit, SI/Allegany Technology in Tustin. Riley has been with the company for 15 years.

* Robert Conn, Jan Peeters and Robert N. Pokelwaldt have joined the board of directors of Intersil in Irvine. Conn is dean of UC San Diego’s Jacobs School of Engineering. Peeters is president, chief executive and founder of Olameter Inc. and Pokelwaldt is the retired chairman and chief executive of York International Corp.

* Darla Callahan, director of workplace design and management, has been appointed vice president at the Newport Beach office of Gensler. In addition, Dennis J. Potts and Sandi Warneke have been named senior associates. Warneke is director of design. Potts has been with Gensler for 11 years, responsible for the overall direction of the retail practice.

* Paula Brici has been named to the newly created position of vice president of client services for Lages & Associates in Irvine. She has been with the firm since 1995, previously serving as account director.
