UltraLink to Merge With Web-Based Firm

UltraLink, a Costa Mesa provider of health plan management services, said Monday that it will merge with an El Segundo provider of Web-based employee benefits. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The merger of UltraLink and IBenefits Inc. is designed to expand Web-based tools to UltraLink’s larger clients and to give health plan performance management to IBenefits’ small- and mid-size companies.

No loss of employees is expected at either company as a result of the merger.

UltraLink said in a press release that its executives will take on management roles in the merged organization. UltraLink will continue to operate from its offices, and IBenefits will maintain its corporate offices in El Segundo.
