SANTA ANA
Two Santa Ana high school students were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Orange Empire Sertoma Club.
The awards were based on community activities and need, representatives from the philanthropic organization said. Patricia Mata of Valley High School will be attending Santa Ana Community College and Lauren Chamberlin, valedictorian of her class at Santa Ana High School, will attend UC Berkeley.
