LAGUNA BEACH
The City Council has approved creating a task force to identify essential aspects of the Laguna Beach community that should be encouraged to remain in the city. City Councilman Steve Dicterow, who proposed the item at Tuesday’s City Council meeting, said he would like to see arts organizations targeted, but was open to looking at other groups, projects, properties and programs. Each council member will appoint one person to serve on the committee at the July 11 meeting.
