The City Council has authorized Councilwoman Lauree Aragona to attend this year’s California Joint Powers Insurance Authority’s conference. The conference will be held at the Hotel del Coronado, in Coronado, Calif., Oct. 12 and 13.
The CJPIA provides insurance for more than 80 cities in the state. Aragona serves as La Palma’s representative on CJPIA’s board of directors.
The trip will cost the city $475.
