Shooting of 2 May Be Gang-Related
Two young men were seriously injured outside a Van Nuys gas station late Friday in what police are calling a possible gang-related shooting.
The victims were standing near an Arco station in the 14800 block of Victory Boulevard shortly before 11:30 p.m. when the shooting occurred, police said.
Four men in a compact car fired about eight shots at the victims, police said.
A 17-year-old boy was struck in the face and his friend, a 20-year-old man, was hit in the leg, police said. Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital.
Their condition was unknown, but police said the injuries aren’t life-threatening. No arrests have been made.
