STANTON
The City Council, acting as the Redevelopment Agency, will meet on July 5 to vote on the city’s plan to turn all of Stanton into a redevelopment zone. About 22% of the city is already a redevelopment area. The agency on Wednesday unanimously passed the first reading of a law that will declare the remainder a redevelopment area. The vote July 5 is necessary to turn the proposal into law.
