Charles Petrilla, chairman of the math department at Lexington Junior High School, was recently voted Teacher of the Year by his colleagues.

Petrilla has taught at Lexington for more than 20 years. During the summer Petrilla teaches SAT preparation at Magnolia High School.

Petrilla and members of Lexington’s English department have teamed up during the past year to train faculty to teach test-taking skills to students.
