NEWPORT BEACH
Parents at Newport Beach’s Mariners Elementary School will vote this week on a uniform policy for students.
To help them make the decision, the school hosted a fashion show and information meeting last week with young runway models parading uniform choices. Nearly 100 parents showed up to voice their opinions and hear others’ thoughts on the issue.
If the Mariners’ vote favors uniforms, the policy will offer parents and students several style choices and store options, ranging from Target to Nordstrom.
