Centralia School District Supt. John Carlyle was directed by the Board of Trustees during Tuesday evening’s board meeting to submit an Early Mental Health Initiative grant proposal to the state Department of Mental Health program funding.
The $26,000 grant would be used to hire and train people to work with at-risk children in programs at Los Coyotes Elementary School.
