SAN CLEMENTE
A five-member nominating committee will have the task of making recommendations to the City Council during its selection of the first five trustees to the Casa Romantica nonprofit board.
The committee was chosen by council members this month to also be in charge of a fund-raising campaign to restore the historic structure. The group will meet every other Monday and establish an application process.
The city, which takes over Casa Romantica in April, seeks to convert the landmark into a cultural and education center.
Information: City Hall, (949) 361-8200.
