Within the next 30 days, the city is expected to analyze a proposed building moratorium.
A group of city residents submitted petitions for an initiative to prohibit the city from issuing residential building permits until Avenida La Pata is extended to Antonio Parkway. The measure calls for Avenida La Pata to be constructed as a divided roadway of no less than four lanes.
The report will be presented to the council, which will decide on a course of action.
