Tishler, Watson Join Dense-Pac Board
Samuel W. Tishler and Gordon M. Watson have been elected to the board of directors of Dense-Pac Microsystems Inc. in Garden Grove. Tishler is vice president of corporate development for Dynatech Inc. Watson is the founder of Watson Consulting LLC, a management consultant to small technology companies.
* Kathy Hager has been named director of travel and owner services for Trading Places International in Laguna Niguel. She joined the company last year and has held the positions of coordinator of preferred vendors and cruise counselor. Susan Quartucy has been promoted from project director to senior project director.
* Robert Scott Wylie has been selected director of the Whittier Law School Children’s Rights Clinic in Costa Mesa, expected to open in September. Wylie has been executive director and general counsel of the Public Law Center in Santa Ana for seven years. He is a member of the board of governors of the State Bar of California and is an adjunct professor of law at Whittier Law School.
* Mike Skinner is the new chief information officer at BDS Marketing in Irvine. He was formerly vice president of product development for MarketStar, and was a training manager for America Online.
* T.A. Mercurio has joined the board of directors of Pen Interconnect Inc. in Irvine. He is chief executive of PerFORMplace.com and former chief executive of Theatrical Investors International. Pen Interconnect recently signed a letter of intent to merge with PerFORMplace.com, which provides electronic business-to-business services for the entertainment industry.
* Andy Mills has been named vice president and general manager of the network business unit of TDK Semiconductor Corp. in Tustin. He had been director. Mills joined TDK in 1998 from Rockwell Semiconductor Systems in Newport Beach, where he was director of local area network product marketing and applications.
* Say Kuan Tan has been named chief executive and executive director of operations in Asia for Newport Beach-based ECatalystOne. He had been chief financial officer with R.R. Donnelley-Asia. Tan has also worked for Arthur Andersen, Chase Investment Bank, Strategic Planning Associates and EDS International.
* John Walcher has been appointed director of corporate development to manage acquisitions for Caliber Collision Centers in Irvine. Before joining the company, Walcher managed the corporate development efforts of a Tyco International subsidiary.
* Ron Rawson has joined Innovative Audio Corp. as vice president, strategic accounts, in Laguna Beach. Greg Taylor was named vice president, operations. Rawson and Taylor were founders of Building Blocks Pediatric Healthcare in Newport Beach.
