Gunmen opened fire on guests at a Los Angeles wedding reception, killing two men and wounding another, police said Sunday.

The attack occurred about 11 p.m. Saturday at a home on East 27th Street, according to Los Angeles police Officer Eduardo Funes.

The victims were standing with other guests on the front lawn when an unknown number of gunmen walked up and started shooting into the crowd.

Two of the victims--identified as Mario Lopez, 34, and Lorenzo Barajas, 27--died at a local hospital, Funes said. The third victim, Oscar Castenada, 26, was in stable condition with wounds that did not appear life-threatening, police said.

The suspects’ dress and behavior indicated the shooting may be gang related, Funes said.
