Gun March
Webster’s defines “amendment” as a correction of errors, faults, etc. Those arguing for the 2nd Amendment need to understand that when it was created there were muskets, not automatic weapons, there were no cars for drive-bys, the population was much smaller and there was no lobby called the NRA to influence our politicians.
It’s time for members of Congress to listen to the people and stem this tide of violence and death. It’s time for them to correct the faults of the 2nd Amendment. We need Congress to act now before George W. Bush gets elected and Charlton Heston becomes the unofficial president of the U.S. Let’s hope those million moms all turn out to vote.

* In light of the fact that a mere 2.5% of childhood accidental deaths (of kids under 15) involve guns and, further, in light of the fact that only 18% of the murders of children under 13 are committed by means of guns, how on Earth is it possible to believe that the Million Mom March organizers are really interested in the children?
