City leaders on Tuesday will review the proposed 2000-01 city budget at a 4 p.m. study session. The proposed operating budget is nearly the same as the current year’s.
City Manager Homer Bludau said that special needs within various departments are addressed in the proposal.
Bludau said he is recommending many requests be approved to maintain current service levels. After the study session at the 7 p.m. meeting, the council will consider increasing fees for parking meters and will discuss reducing speed limits on Santiago Drive.
