Printrak Gets Aussie Police Dispatch Bid

Printrak International Inc. in Anaheim said Tuesday that it received a $22-million contract from the Western Australia Police Service to provide a computerized dispatch system.

Printrak said the system features mobile computing and automatic vehicle location capabilities.

The Western Australian Police jurisdiction covers the Perth metropolitan area and has about 1.3 million residents.
