HUNTINGTON BEACH
The Huntington Beach Union High School District Educational Enrichment Foundation will give awards totaling $3,500 to every high school in the district. The grants are intended to further technology and arts programs and are being presented at each school’s end-of-the-year awards ceremonies. Schools will receive grants of $500 or $250 each, depending on the student enrollment.
The foundation will sponsor a gala brunch on Oct. 1 at the Waterfront Hilton Hotel to raise additional funds for the arts and technology. The public is welcome to attend. Information: Wendy Weber, (714) 840-3492.
