Fidelity Chairman Foley Registers to Sell Shares
William P. Foley II, chairman of Fidelity National Financial Inc., registered to sell 101,000 shares of the company’s common stock, according to a document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
A sale of all those shares would raise $2.1 million at Monday’s closing price of $20.81 a share, which was a drop of 38 cents from Friday’s close.
Foley listed the likely sale dates as Oct. 10 to December, though the filing is not a commitment to sell any shares. The broker was listed as Merrill Lynch.
Fidelity National operates the nation’s largest title insurance company and also has a small stake in CKE Restaurants Inc., which Foley and an investor group control.
