St. Francis 45, Bishop Montgomery 14--The Golden Knights broke open a one-point game with three touchdowns in a 2:30 span of the second quarter at St. Francis.

Leading 7-6, St. Francis (6-1) drove 62 yards on four plays, culminating with John Sciarra’s 11-yard pass to Brett Mitchell, one play after reserve running back Luis Gonzalez ran for 30 yards.

The Golden Knights increased their lead to 21-6 four plays later when Joe Orlandini recovered Devonte Donaldson’s fumble and returned it 26 yards for a touchdown. St. Francis scored again 10 seconds later on Sciarra’s 21-yard touchdown pass to Jared Vandercook, one play after Mark Schmidt recovered Peter Roses’ fumble.

Matthew Milton ran for 124 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries.

Sciarra completed 12 of 20 passes for 156 yards and three touchdowns.
