The La Palma Days organizing committee will have an extra $16,570 to spend on this year’s parade and festival Nov. 11. The City Council this week approved the additional funding, putting the cost of the annual event at $67,636. The celebration will feature a parade along Walker Street and a variety of activities at Central Park, 7821 Walker St., including a laser light show, petting zoo, pony rides and exhibits.
