HUNTINGTON BEACH
The Educational Foundation awarded more than $30,000 to the Huntington Beach City School District. The grant will be used for classrooms or projects that provide technology in the classrooms, develop students’ critical thinking skills or assist with at-risk students.
The funds came from last year’s membership drive, corporate sponsorships and grants and fund-raisers. This year’s membership drive is underway. For more information, contact the foundation’s president at (714) 968-5213.
