UCLA has never lost to Fresno State in five games, and the Bulldogs are coming off a 43-10 loss at Ohio State.
Saturday’s game will be the first time since the teams first played in 1927 that the Bruins will be coming off a victory.
Last year, the Bruins fell to Ohio State the week before playing Fresno State. In 1995, UCLA lost to Washington the week before. In 1987, it fell to Nebraska and in 1929 UCLA was coming off a 76-0 setback against USC.
