Liberty Christian 48, Los Angeles Lutheran 26--Aaron Mendoza scored five touchdowns for visiting Liberty Christian (1-0).
Mendoza had nine catches and a school-record 247 yards receiving. The five touchdowns tied the school record he set last year against L.A. Lutheran. Quarterback Nick Harbert completed 16 of 23 passes for 367 yards.
