YORBA LINDA
The Veterans of Foreign Wars Yorba Linda/Placentia Post 9030 will join the Richard Nixon American Legion Post 679 for a POW/MIA Recognition Day at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hurless Barton Park, 4601 Casa Loma Ave. in Yorba Linda.
The event will include the presentation of a flag honoring prisoners of war and soldiers missing in action, which will be given to the Yorba Linda Community Center. Mayor Ken Ryan and former POW Mel Harper will speak. Information: (714) 779-2423.
