Len Wood was appointed interim city manager on Monday and will serve until a permanent replacement can be found for Daniel E. Keen, who recently announced his resignation.

Wood served in the same position in 1995, before Keen was selected for the post. With 23 years of experience in local government, Wood has also held goal-setting workshops for the city. He will begin his duties Oct. 9.
