Sleeping Driver Crashes Into House
A 23-year-old Ventura woman drove her car into the bedroom of a Jamestown Street home early Sunday when she fell asleep at the wheel, police said.
Valerie Woodley was driving south on Bismark Avenue at 4:30 a.m. when she failed to stop at a stop sign and drove across the Jamestown Street intersection and into the home of Robert Jankowski, police said.
Her car came to a stop in the front bedroom, where Jankowski was sleeping, police said. Both Woodley and Jankowski suffered minor injuries.
